This has been a brutal start to 2019, fellas

We're in the market for 12" of snow starting tomorrow night. We're border line.....and I just brought out all of my patio furniture.:(

My garage roof isn't melted clean yet and Ollie is sending another foot.
Yeah! That's exactly how it works too. I did the same thing last year and I should have learned.

Well the good news is that us mid-Michigan folk won't have to deal with it for too terribly long. Looks like a couple inches of heavy wet junk.

We got teased two weekends ago with sun and temps approaching 70, but it’s been cold rain with temps in the 40’s and 50’s ever since. Same for the forecast over the next 5-7 days. Oh well ..we need the rain to offset the summer forest fire potential. The last two years have been extremely dry in summer and we had extended periods where you couldn’t see half a mile due to smoke. It hurt to breath for too long outside. That’s no fun for doing anything outside much less boating. Not to mention many people in interior B.C. lost homes and businesses to fire last year. I’ll take rain and cold(ish) temps now in hopes of a lesser fire season.

It might not be your fault Ollie. I just found out my son-in-law took the snowblower off his lawnmower last weekend...the dummy jinxed us.:(

Why would you do that to us? Get that thing out, put gas in it, start it up, and pray for spring to return!

May have been a brutal winter but it has a sweet ending. Went out to our storage marina to check on some work and this big guy was being pulled out of one of the buildings. There are at least 4 or more right behind it of similar size. Great time of the year!

I go in next saturday,so hush up with that nasty" s" word already.

Still waiting on my aft curtain that was supposed to have been done yesterday. Getting a little impatient although boats are starting to show up in our neighborhood along with spring rains and green grass. Hope springs eternal.
