anyone on TOronto island? We’ll be there Friday-Monday. Heading to the city for a concert Sunday night but other than that just exploring and drinking

One of my favorite places.... Depending on where you are moored...or take a dingy... One of my favorite places is Boy Scout island...if the Boy Scouts aren't there...you can have a fire on the beach at night watching the city or just watch the city without the fire... It's really a crazy experience if the opportunity is there... Have fun.

Got a slip at the island marina but I’m bringing the dinghy, thanks for the tip!

It's called snake island park on a map... Dingy is perfect to just go up to the beach
Cool! looks awesome

How about for bars and restaraunts? I see the top deck bar and grill at TIM, are there other places around the island? We're headed into the City for a concert on Sunday so we'll eat dinner there but I'd rather stay out on the islands as much as I can

Carousel Café was okay...this was a while ago by Duck pond lots to see and do around there
Toronto Island BBQ
Rectory - on the other end of the island where the homes are..there might be a couple more over there.
You can rent bikes to get to the other end
There are a few yacht clubs they might have restaurants if you can reciprocate

Cool, I'll look around. I saw the bike rental, we'll probably do that to explore.

How about dinghy docks on the city side? is it worth going in with it or should we just use the ferry/taxi? The concert will let out late so we have to schedule the water taxi since it'll be after the ferry's last run

A friend of ours in Oakville is a member of the Port Credit Yacht Club and we stayed on their 60' Princess with them at Toronto Island Yacht Club for a few days a few years ago. Great place, great restaurant. Dingy is a must for "touring"...

In the past there wasn't anything you would feel comfortable leaving your dingy at. Taxi is the way to go if you cant get the ferry
Once your there ask around they will know the ins and outs better than me since I haven't been in a few years... Good luck its a fun place

We’re here safe. Very cool place, we ran from Rochester to olcott in some heavy swell and confused chop so it took about 3 hours, but we’ll worth the $3.60 per gallon fuel cost! We paid like 4.40 in Rochester.

The run from olcott to Toronto was great. Gentle swell, about an hour and 15 minutes at 27-28mph

Update to this, Marina 4 is only $10 for 3 hours to land on their west wall with the tender. We’re headed over this afternoon to hit the brewery and walk around a bit

We did that same trip last fall in a friends 300; other than getting "stranded" there for four days-which just meant more fun for us-due to the remnants of a hurricane passing through the US it was an incredible trip!

We came back in gorgeous weather and spent an evening at Niagara On The Lake. We didn't tank up in Canada and forgot about fuel locations closing for the evening! We discovered Olcott just as we were bingo fuel enroute back to Rochester! They're operated by the municipality, have low fuel prices and were open late that night!

From Olcott to Rochester we hit some SERIOUS fog and had some onboard electrical failures simultaneously affecting gps! That was beyond frightening and prompted me to install radar on my own 290, which is the topic of another thread.

It looks like a gorgeous day! Enjoy your stay there!

We sure did, perfect weekend. It really is an amazing place. We rented the bikes for a couple hours and rode around one day to see all the houses and such.

Sunday we went into the city to see Mark Knopfler (incredible show) and it was like we went to another planet for 3 hours.
