Greetings all, I purchased a Sea Ray weekender with a buddy and will learn from the lake up. Just retired last year from the Elevator industry so mechanical and electronic troubleshooting is my forte. I hope to learn and advise on this site

Welcome. There is a lot of knowledge in the older posts that are archived here. While there is some stuff that will be dated, the group is pretty good at staying on topic, the old posts are a goldmine of useful stuff.

Welcome Admiral. The best piece of advice I can give you is to take your state's Boater Safety Course. Taking it in a classroom setting rather than online will give you the added benefit of learning from the experiences of others.

Thanks all, my co-owner has experience with boating and docked the craft pretty much exclusively with the 2, F-N-R handles. I will practice this technique and assure my fellow boaters I’m not a hot dog and with be very cautious!
