I have a triple axle trailer that is for a 24 to 26 foot boat. My boat is a 1998 290 Sundancer. Can I modify this trailer to fit my boat?

Is this a trailer that you are going to be using over the road or is this going to be a yard trailer?

Do you have any dimensions of this trailer?
Do you have any pictures of this trailer?

Measure from the winch to the end of the bunks then measure your boat from the bow eye to the transom.
You want your transom on the bunks when winched up tight.

You'll need to check with the manufacturer to see if the frame can support it... then check the axle, brake and wheel/tire ratings... then see if you can change the bunks to extended, 4x10 style (vertical) bunks (stick out further off the back crossmember)... then if the rear crossmember can handle the weight... and then whether you can move the axles back far enough to get 5% to 7% tongue weight.
