Long time member. First time posting...

I have done some upgrades since getting our new to us 04 Sundeck 240. This one has been on my mind since the first trip out.

The usual dilemma. How can we listen to music off the back of the boat when floating without blasting anyone onboard?

If you know my model year Sundeck, the options are limited. The household tower debat rages on, but the boss keeps winning that discussion.

I have seen many solutions and thought I would share mine as the build continues.

Light pole bases.

Speakers. I have had these sitting around for a couple of years when I decided to swap out my 650’s for 770’s. Spent all winter looking for a decent deal on enclosures.

Another amp. A little big for a 2 channel amp but the price over the winter was to good to pass up.

The daylight and pending weather is keeping me from getting the wiring done, but I hope to have it all finished next weekend. More pictures soon.

nice.. keep us updated...

Awesome. I might have to borrow that idea.

I really like the concept to the light mounts - while they might not be perfect for speakers I like the fact that you can set them up whenever you need them and otherwise they can be stowed away. What I most like is the "out-of-the-box" thinking that when into this idea.

I would just make sure to keep the contact coated with dielectric grease.

Took the afternoon and finished. Pretty happy overall.

Amp rack installed and speaker wire pulled.

Light brackets finished and wiring done. Decided to use disconnects for when the cover needs removed.

Speakers in and sound really good behind the boat.

First splash of the season should be next weekend. Now all I want two get done is replace the grab handles with stainless and detail it.
