Treatment to clean and minimize scum in shower sump? [2007

Yes, it’s the holding tank stuff. I’ve used it the last few seasons in the sumps. I pour a teaspoon full in the shower drains every few weeks and flush it through to the sumps with some hot water. It does a nice job of keeping the sumps clean. I’ve also switched to body wash instead of soap and been diligent about putting the AC Pan Tablets in the AC pans so it is probably a combination of those three things that is helping.
I recently tried the Oxy Kem that Carter recommended as a less expensive alternative in one of the sumps to do a comparison but it hasn’t been long enough to check the results yet.
Regardless of the results of the Oxy Kem in the sumps, I’m still going to stick with the NoFlex in the heads because it is that good.
Well worth the money IMHO.
Just be sure to flush it thoroughly through.

SO u want it to not stay in the sump ? u want it to flush out of the sump ? kinda thought ud want it to stay in and shake around …. then let the ac units condensate eventually discharge it ?

Noflex is granular and it doesn’t appear to dissolve very quickly.
I use the water to flush it through the line in to the sump so it doesn’t clump up and clog the drain. Learned that the hard way.
Also, when I use the Noflex in the heads I hold the flush pedal down and pour it in trying to avoid getting any granules on the seal. Learned that the hard way too when I poured it in the standing water in the commode and the granules got on the seal and caused the vacuum pump to keep coming on. Fortunately a quick cleaning of the seal with a brush took care of it.
Once I got past the slight learning curve I became convinced that Noflex is worth every penny.

thank you, I wasn't thinking quite that large but yes I'm looking @ installing a 5" round one...
That is about the size that came on my 58 - really makes monthly clean-out easy...

Just started using NoFlex in our tiny home ( floating ) holding tank about a month ago, what a wonderful product!Due to issues with a company that left us high and dry before last falls final pumping we had plenty in the holding tank plus several gallons of anti-freeze to keep from freezing. What a stinky mess this beginning season. I finally came across this product and WOW!!!!! We now are back on track and I'm sure it has many uses too!

I'll be the oddball in the group. We've been using the Tank-Teria tablets now for 5 seasons in our holding tank, and have had great results. Our tank is 60 gallons, so we use 2 tablets. We put 2 tablets in a 12 oz plastic water bottle that's about 1/2 full, swish it around until it's a liquid and then pour it down the head. I found this on the marinesan website before I ever heard of NoFlex.

Just wanted to let you know I also use a tiny bit of Noflex Digestor in my shower drain, and galley sink to keep the greasy food particle buildup away. Just a little though (I used too much in this video--its a waste that way), followed by lots of clean, fresh water. Find it on Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C7HRV4P?ref=myi_title_dp

I replaced the holding tank over the winter, so I started using both the Tank-Teria and NoFlex. The NoFlex just supercharges the bacteria. Works great. No smell. Ever.

I'm new here- I should have prefaced my post. Full disclosure friends-I am the Amazon Seller for Noflex. I paid CSR sponsorship fees to be able to communicate how well this stuff works for a variety of boat smells.

Regarding the cost-it is super expensive to ship this stuff around. Its embarrassing to say how little I make on a sale, depending on where it ships from at Amazon warehouses, and many times I give product away to those who contact me for help. Some boaters have horrendous old build up of scale, mucked up sensors, etc.

Save money, use less over time. After your pipes, tank, are clean and fresh, just go by your nose and ease of pump outs. You can use much product less over time.

I am trying to set up my own website sales to reduce the fees I pay to Amazon, in order to make this superior product more available.

Other stuff can work too. If its working don't fix it, but if it isn't please look at this easy solution.

I even personally guarantee Noflex will work for you and does not harm the environment or your boat plumbing in anyway. Sorry for the lengthy post, that's me in the video on our 20 year old cruiser; next "wanna be" Peggie Hall! thanks for your support~

Why is the shipping of Noflex so dad-gum expensive?
As the Noflex Amazon seller I can answer this with confidence. Most of the expense is in the shipping--its heavy, (small but mighty).

NF is produced in Canada, shipped to me in Atlanta, I label/package each by hand myself for Amazon, ship out to Amazon warehouses all across the country so my boating friends can get it in just 2 days (Free shipping Prime).

Fisheries in Seattle offers a low price of $24.99/bottle (there's only one size from the manufacturer), but the shipping can be $18 and slow! I pay Amazon both a referral and handling fee to get it to you FASTER.

Want it cheaper? Me too! I am working on my own website, to eliminate Amazon fees, but shipping costs is the real booger. If you want a few bottles at a discount, I'll ship it to you direct less Amazon fees, probably not in 2 days-I like to go boating a lot.

Oh and I personally back this product with a money back GUARANTEE. When someone has a huge scale build up, or doesn't know how to use the product in a particular scenario, I ask the inventor-manufacturer.
Toll free 866-241-4518 That's me on the other end.
I am Kat, Small but Mighty!;)

Love your boat (ship)! She's absolutely beautiful. My 20 year old Four Winns Express cruiser is on Lake Hartwell, live in Duluth, GA. Just wanted to say HI Neighbor, and Thanks! for support of Noflex Digestor. I am the Amazon Seller. I love the product so much, I devoted my new career to it. IMG_0997.jpg
