Unfortunately due to high winds and waves this parade was called off. 3 boats did end up making the trek to New Buffalo and we were able to watch 15 or so decorated boats leave Michigan City and immediately turn around!
50+ boats flying Trump flags.... so the marina felt like we were at a Trump rally.
Saturday brought a small craft advisory with a strong north wind and 6'+ waves. Today there's a Gale Force wind warning in place.
I hope this isn't previewing the last few weeks of the season....

We had one yesterday with about 75 boats, which is alot for our area. There was a group of people standing on the bridge above our river before our marina. I didn't go under it because it was before our marina but I did hear on the VHF that there were Biden signs hanging from the bridge. My mother and step-father went under it and we were talking to them today. She said they had megaphones and were yelling 'you motherf****rs'. Haven't heard of anything being thrown from the bridge.
