Just wondering what you guys think. I bought a 43" tv for the boat that I'm going to mount in the cabin area. The mount I bought is rated for 40lbs and the TV weighs 18.5 lbs. Yes it will fit in boat and on TV and yes the mount says it's rated to a 32" tv. Question is with the bouncing of the boat do you think I'll have a problem with the rated weight and the extra force on it when in heavy seas?

As long as the mount holes work out I would do it. The weight is the important imo

Look at Kevin's thread for the wiring. I may not install this until the spring.

Thank you I def appreciate that... I'm gonna do what he did... I just brought this boat... The old owner mounted a big TV on the wall just never ran electric just left wire hanging..
