TV Help!!

You may have an inverter that powers the tvs so you don’t need the genny. Most of them have on/off switches.
Hey I never thought of that.. would that be an Item on the main panel?

Hard to say. Could be that switch you said made high pitch noise.

My forward Accs switch on the Port switch pad operates a 750 watt inverter that is wired into the electrical system that has a switch box so it drops off line if the shore power is plugged in or genny is brought on line. This doesn't help your TV power issue, but may explain the high pitched audible sound you are hearing, as mine will do the same. On my 06, the components for the inverter are behind the drawer under the electrical panel in the cabin. Not sure if it was a SR option or if the PO installed it. Very nice option to find after we actually purchased.
My guess is the dealer had the same problem you are having, that is why they didn't go over the operation - just sayin.
Ahhhhhhh.... The mystery continues.. I should be out there this weekend to continue investigating. Thanks!

Just wanted to give everyone the update since its been a while. For starters, I finally got the TV's to power on! Turns out when I was flipping the accessory switch on my 12v panel, and I would hear the high pitched whine, that was the inverter trying to kick on but "flaking out" as the marine audio video guy put it..I was instructed to flip it off and on again, and the whine went away. Then when I would try to turn on the TV by pressing the on button on the TV its self, I was told that the the button on the TV was not working and I would have to use the remote. Yep. that was it.. the damn flaky inverter and a wore out button on the TV. I am just thankful that I can get them to turn on. The TV's are from 2008 and I can see how the button may not work so I might upgrade them this year as I have a few extra in the house that I rarely use. Thanks everyone for your assistance!! Ill be posting a new question here momentarily about Tracvision.. lol

Cheers!

If you don't already have a TV on the bulk head you might want to reference this:

Getting the TV out of the galley opens that space more more storage or other creative solutions as people have posted.

Hi there, thanks for the awesome install instructions! The TV is actually already mounted like the one you have on your post. I may still upgrade it though since is a 32 and yeah I can tell its heavy.
