i THINK I may have saved two lives yesterday and I did it by going against my past experiences. These two were in a blowup tender with a small outboard. When they came in it was just after a heavy shower, docked, then went up the have some beer at the brewery. About the time I was setting off to go home they were headed back to the little boat. By then the storms were building big time out on the river, strong lightning could be seen, and the wind was coming up. It must have been a boating date. He was determined to leave and take her home which was 2 or 3 miles up river towards Richmond. After not warning the two duck hunters I felt I should say something and show them weather radar. It took 5 minutes and by then we had whitecaps in the marina. They stayed, we put them in my neighbors slip, and I went home.

It's amazing how people can hit the water and never think about what the weather is doing.

Yup, Darwin lost another pair.
