7.4 Carb V drives
Hello, does anyone know if a 1995 Sundancer 330 with 7.4 v drives can be off loaded from a flat bed with a fork lift or does it have to be a travel lift with slings? And any considerations I need to tell the driver when it is loaded?
thanks!

A big enough lift truck might be able to do it, IF they can get under it. I think it would be way easier with the travel lift and slings.

Thanks, just found out they would be transporting her on a triple axle trailer, so it looks like I may just need a boat ramp.

Who to you have doing the transport. I'm in the market.

My 340 was always lifted with a fork lift without any issues.

But when it was delivered it was on a triple axle trailer and we simply launched it.

Thanks!
If I use this transportation company and they do a good job I will post their contact information for others....

The guy I used wouldn't dip his trailer in saltwater. I actually appreciated that - it suggested that he cared about the equipment he was using to haul my boat across the country! Therefore the loading and unloading process was dependent on the marina. The origination facility argued and nickel/dimed me on everything and even argued with the hauler. They had a travel lift and a fork lift. The destination marina had no issue at all. They had slings for their forklift. They had the boat unloaded and racked in a matter of minutes.

Thanks, looks like transport company is now going to use a triple axle trailer and launch at boat ramp....will post how that all goes!

What transport company did you use, I'm looking to buy a boat that will need to be transported to my homeport.

BTW, I know a lot about the 1995 330DA, feel free to ping me should you need help/have questions.

I used RCW Transport, owner is Bob Willams, great guy, did a great job at a very good rate!
His number is 407-385-2572
He had transported hundreds of Sea Ray boats, knows exactly how to do it properly.
