Vacuflush in 06' 270SD

How were these setup from the factory? I am looking to install one in mine....

In one manual i've seen an all-in-one vacuum/holding tank unit beside the engine on the port side, and in another manual i've seen the vacuum tank on port side of engine and the holding tank on stbd side of engine. Trying to round up parts....

The older style Vacuflush used a separate vac tank and holding tank. With the newer style, the vac tank was integrated (attached directly) to the holding tank. Functionally, they're equal.

At this point, do whatever works best for you. How they did it at the factory is of little consequence.

Build "replicas" out of a cardboard box and see what fits best/easiest.

Best advice you’ll get. I’ve done this many times and have fit custom tanks and whatnot in snug spaces and they were larger than had I just measured and played it safe.
