Vberth bed foam

I had a professional upholstery shop glue 2 PCs together and with a typical mattress pad on top it is impossible to detect the seam.
$200 for an oversized queen 4 in thick.

Measuring our mattress size for the V-berth it is 87" from the head to foot and 100" at it's widest point. Did you find a foam mattress that will fit this size? Everything we have tried from retailers is too small. We don't want to piece of together and have cracks to fall into. Thanks

Wow!

Over 7' long and over 8" wide....hell of a bed there. Cannot say I have ever seen a foam mattress that big. I am sure you can get one custom made....

I did what everyone else did, except was in the same measurement boat as you. I bought two full beds glued together with spray contact cement (3M). Then did the same with gel topper. Trimmed to fit with electric knife. Most awesome sleep ever on the boat, as good or better then our $5K tempurpedic at home.

We threw out the mattress the previous owner had custom made.

I have a 330DA with bow berth, we used 2 twin memory foam mattress to fill the space keeping the same break line as the original (so can access the HVAC unit). Off set the mattresses so there will be pieces cut from both. Then use the cut-offs to fill in the missing puzzle pieces. And the $15 (Walmart B&D) electric meat cutting knife is the ticket to success. Since I save big bucks making our mattress the wife believes custom sheets and comforter are now on the "to buy" list.
