Hi all,

I am adding Amberjack 270s to my list of potential boats, but there are none local for sale.

Can anyone provide me with their vberth dimensions of their AJ 270...from apex (bow point) of the vberth to the center of the aft portion (splitting the triangle in equal halves, if you will)...and the widest part of the vberth (starboard to port, where the vberth abuts the galley and head).

Thank you SO much

Jen

Jen,
I have a 1988 Ambejack. I will measure tomorrow and post back. I've used it to overnight with my wife and we are 5'8". Plenty of room. If you want I can also measure the height of the cabin from the sole of the boat?

Old AJ, if you could measure the following, that would be great.

1. Inches from rear of captain's chair to transom
2. Width of entrance to cuddy
3. Inches between floor to ceiling in cuddy
4. Width of galley
5. Width of head room (total) and head door
6. Vberth width at widest point
7. Vberth length from top of 'triangle' (at the stern) to mid-line of the vberth (centerline of the triangle).

Much appreciated!

Here are the measurements for the v-berth:
7'6" down the center line of the berth.
At the bottom it's about 7' wide.
On the starboard side it's slightly shorter because there's a cabinet for jackets with a hanger and the stereo and AC shore power panel. The height of the cabin is 6' at its tallest. That's adjacent to the head. I will post back with other measurements tomorrow.

Here are the other measurements,
Rear of captains chair to transom door is 90"
Cuddy door is 21"x48" w/ a 13 step at cockpit level followed by a 12" step into cabin.
Head door is 18"x60" w/ a 9" bulkhead at your feet.
Galley is approximately 48"x22" w a sink, stove and a nor old fridge underneath with cabinet storage and two drawers.

I hope this helps!
