Hey guys! I know there are several threads on here about this but I can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. My vent window on my 2005 340 stopped working the other day. All I hear is clicking. Took it apart and screwed the actuator in to a closed position. I wired a drill battery to it and it works so I know the actuator is good. The connection didn’t look corroded. The breaker wasn’t tripped either. Is there anything else I should be looking for?
Thanks

Hi Brad,

Having similar problems.. Did you resolve yours?

Jep, tried that, and no curent. The breaker looked fine. The previous owner has applied one of the extra switches to the wipers (there is aplace for them on the pad with vent switches) so maybe there is something wrong with the pad. Other switches are operating fine on the pad, anchor, lights so on... There is a groug of three wires coming to the back of the pad but difficult to get a good look in there. The actuater/ motor has been tested and works fine.

Any ideaa or suggestions? New wiring completely and switch or how could the original be utilised? Not sure if wiring diagrams will shed any light, will try to have a look...
