Hey guys! I may have posted this in the wrong forum yesterday. I know there are several threads on here about this but I can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. My vent window on my 2005 340 stopped working the other day. All I hear is clicking. Took it apart and screwed the actuator in to a closed position. I wired a drill battery to it and it works so I know the actuator is good. The connection didn’t look corroded. The breaker wasn’t tripped either. Is there anything else I should be looking for?

Are you sure you have enough battery power on the boat? Are you on shore power? Does the unit move freely with the separate battery attached or is it labored? Does it need lube??

I was on shore power. It seemed to move freely up and down. It may need to be lubed. Is there a relay or anything else that could be bad?
Thanks

This happened to my window when I had my 310 and all it needed was lube. When I got the 400 the window on it was very slow and laboring. I lubed it and it works perfectly. I use a silicone lubricant a couple times a season and haven't had a problem since.
