I crash landed my drone after shooting some aerials of the boat. The prop cut the vinyl about 2". Is there a vinyl repair kit out there that will match the SeaRay color? Thanks.

Doh!

You could try one of the "mix your own color" kits that they sell at auto parts stores (track auto, pep boys, etc.) Worth a shot for the $30 bucks it costs and it couldn't make it any worse than a 2" slice in the seat. Let us know how it goes if you try it, pics are good!

Most car dealers and rental companies use vinyl repair guys pretty regularly. If you know anyone in one of those businesses, it couldn't hurt to ask them.

i used this company to re-dye my cockpit seats....they did a good job....they also do vinyl repair....

I've heard good things about Fibrenew but haven't used them myself http://www.fibrenew.com

Fibrenew is a franchise so the quality of the service will vary with individual who performs the work. Having said that I used the West Michigan guy last year to fix a small tear caused by a mooring line rubbing across a bolster on the stern of our boat. It was in a very visible spot. The repair is invisible to the eye. Expect to pay in a range of $75-$100. It takes about 45 minutes to fix small dings such as being described in this thread. Also, do not buy a kit and try to learn how do this without training. You will end up paying more money to an expert to fix what you screw up by not knowing how to do the job.

I used the local franchise here too. I had them out for a RV captain seat repair and was so impressed with his work I drug him down to boat 5 minutes away and had several items repaired.
