The chair base is made with a slight tilt on the top mounting surface. They work great for tables, but I had to make a beveled shim to offset the cast in tilt. You may find that Garelick now has either a table base like the one shown or a factory made shim to offset the cast in angle.

I don't see that on their site at all. Perhaps they discontinued it?

I built those tables 10-12 years ago and it does look like the one for the cherry salon table is no longer offered. I have used Todd Equipment before with good results. Even though they cater mostly to the small boat and canbote crowd, they do have some yacht quality fittings as well…..like this:
