Just opened up the boat from winter storage and found water in the forward floor storage compartment. After looking further found some wood rot on the port side of the storage compartment. Looks like the water is coming from somewhere on the port side. Not sure if anyone had a similar issue. Could use some help with this one. Thanks

How much water? Could I just be your fridge defrosted and drained? Do you see any water stains to trace it back? All the fresh water systems are on the port side so we're going need more to narrow it down.

I thought the fresh water tank was under the aft couch? It isn't alot of water but must have been happening for a while since it rotted the thin wood. I also checked the bow rails and under the forward bed with no sign of water anywhere.

Common sources for internal leaks would be: Leak in shower drain, head sink, galley faucet, leak in sump pump or sump pump hose. Even a defrosting freezer can dump a bunch of water. All these water systems both supply and draining are on the port side from the galley back.

External leaks could come from port lights, bow rails, through hull fittings or any other deck fitting in the area.

Thanks Kevin I am going to spend some time this weekend searching around and hopefully find some sign somewhere. Will let you know what I find.

Thanks, yes I checked that and all around under the forward berth. No luck. I am trying to get down there and look around some more.

With all the rain we have been having if it's from outside it should be easy to follow the water path back. Try to get down to the boat before things dry out.

So I have a similar situation on my05 340. Water appearing to come I. From the left side. It’s very slow to accumulate, if I suck it out with a vac, it will slowly appear. Did you ever track down your leak?
