What does it cost you to have the bottom painted?

It's been a long time since I paid for bottom painting. Just got the invoice from the service shop as well as the marina to haul/block the boat, and power wash the bottom.

Combined it was about $4,000. That's with me replacing my own anodes. I assumed the haul out charge covered moving the boat 50 yards to the lift and then back to the slip, it didn't, those were itemized separately. I wish I had known that I would have driven up and moved the boat myself. Not their fault, I didn't think to ask. I was told I'm not allowed to power wash it, that was another itemized charge.
 
$4000 to move, Haul, block and power wash the bottom? Ouch. No painting?
 
That's usually my bill that also includes compound and wax. If that was just the painting etc. then something is very wrong. At half that price, I would call that expensive.
 
Painting the bottom only, detailing the hull was another $1,500. $1800 labor for two coats of paint, $825 for materials, plus miscellaneous fees. Haul and block $273, power wash $336, lift and relaunch $273, $40 storage, $150 to move the boat from the slip to the lift and then back to the slip. Yeah it felt high to me. I saved $200 by doing my own anodes.
 
I just paid about $1200 for bottom paint on my 340. It was already on stands at marina. That included sand and prep, 1 coat of seaHawk paint for bottom, but I had them use my paint for the running gear and trim tabs. While I too thought this was high, I really hate this job.
$1800 for two coats doesn’t seem to be too out of whack to me. I did not have to pay the other charges you did.

I did my own zincs as well.

Down here in Low Country I paid $3200 last time (last September) Includes haul, blocking, pressure wash, pre-paint sanding, two coats of bottom paint, primer and paint on running gear, token boat washing, dropping back in water. I run the boat directly to/from the travel lift. Half the cost is the price of the actual paint (Seahawk Biocop). I change my own zincs. 400 Sedan Bridge. A little more bottom real estate than yours.
 
Wow! Ouch!
$650 includes haul, power wash, block, winter storage, relaunch.
Replace anodes is included in winterizing $300.
Dont know about paint, its too simple to pay.
Yall sure got a lot of money.
 
I always figured that was a DIY project. $2,000 for a round trip haulout and a few bucks for paint and supplies.

Marina just dropped our 310 back in the water from fresh bottom paint job. $21/foot for $651 total. They prepped it last fall. No short haul fee as they forgot to do it prior to original launch date.
 
I got mine done in April. Wash, wax, bottom paint, 2 coats. Boat was already on the trailer. Total was about $1800. The bottom was a little over $1000; the wash and wax $700 +
