May have forgotten the safety chain?

So, would you rather have the boat tied down securely and take all the force of the stopping in the front of the PU, or would you rather let the boat stop more slowly, and not have the post in your drivers seat?

Interesting picture. Maybe there should be a caption contest.

I think I fixd the link. The new site is more elusive to get it but I got it.

I'm not sure which is the lesser of two evils. I think having the boat attached at all time may help control the whole situation rather than have a rogue boat which may have been the reason for the above wreck

who knows

What you don't see is that the other boat is still on the trailer! This is the ONLY way to get both boats to the water in one trip!! Actually it's QA testing of the new boats!!

This could work! Think how much easier it would be to back the boat into the water at the launch if you didn't know how to back up with a trailer? I'm sure there is a winch that is removable on a front bumper mounted stanchion or maybe it's a retractable winch on the roof of the truck?

The pole took it like a man, still standing.

Maybe the boat was set for a quick launch :smt101 and the driver mistakenly put the truck in DRIVE instead of REVERSE ???:smt021

Reverse? Is THAT what the "R" stands for on the shift selector? I thought it stood for "Race"!!
