hoping to get our 2009 330 back soon. I remembered the sliding door was kind of stiff, as normal for these.
Is a white lithium, or WD 40 the better choice?
applyimg wax on the rails helped a lot on my 260 but not so much on the 330.

dry silicone spray.....anything else will attract dirt and eventually make problem worse.....of course you know the real fix is replacing the track and "trucks", right? This is a job i need to do too....anyone know the best place to get them?

try to find LPS 1 lubricant, (non greasy) I use it daily at work (electric utility industry) repairing equipment. don't use WD 40, it does attract dirt/grime. Cleaning out the tracks with Brakleen and some patience will get you started then lubricate generously. I've had really good results with that process.

The best lubricant is a clean track. After that silicone spray.

Take a toothbrush and a vacuum and clean the tracks. Don't forget to clean the guild wheels on the door. Once the track is good and clean wipe it down with alcohol. Vacuum up anything you can see. Now the easy part, use bees wax, you can get it at any ACE Hardware, and wax the track, guild track, side rails, and guild wheels. Bees wax is very hard and the trick is to keep the tracks clean. I clean and wax the rails every time I wash my boat.

This is a old trick that I use on old windows and aluminum storm windows to keep them working.

Paraffin wax is softer and will form to the track rail guild. Do not use any liquid spray on lubricant of any type. It atracks sand and dirts.
