Windlass install?

In the process of buying a 2006 Crownline that does not have a windlass but could have been ordered with it. There is a Lewmar breaker near the battery switch on the starboard side just behind the captains seat. Would the wiring be ran at least to the breaker? I didn't see any wiring in the anchor locker. When installing the windlass I would just run the wire from that breaker up to the locker? Not sure if I want to tackle this install myself or pay the shop? My biggest concern would be running the wire through the cabin.
