While I am at it I might as well throw this out there too.

Since I purchased the boat this has been on my list, partially because I am not sure how it's supposed to work. When I press the washer dash switch the washers pump a lot of water but do not stop. I have to shut off the fresh water pumps for a few minutes, then it stops. input?

Thanks

There's a little electromagnetic valve, that you need to find. Mine was behind a cabinet in the cockpit.
Take it apart, clean the deposits, reassemble. Salt-Away or vinegar helps.

Takes longer to find it then to clean it.

Dave

Our Boats are different, but mine keep seeping rusty water (leaves brown stains). What side was it on?

Behind the very first cabinet on the port side. Your's is similar enough that it might be in the same place.

Awesome, thanks! Now if I could find a replacement elbow to connect the wiper hose to...

Russ, the selnoid is under the floor, the hatch where the sump is, you need to stick your head in there
and look to the starboard side, little gold colored valve. Bob

DC, I looked in every access panel and nothing. Apparently, the 390 washer valve is gonna be elusive

Bob, I found that pump mounted upside down just were you said to look. What do I do with it? It doesnt look serviceable. It's a Parker pump.

As I mentioned mine is behind the first cabinet, I have to unscrew the plastic shelves. It's positioned high up near the counter top. You have to stick your head in to actually to see it.

Maybe send a Email to Sea Ray and ask them where they hid it.

Remove the water tubes and remove it from the harness. It comes apart pretty easily.
I just cleaned mine, and reassembled it. They get crude on the piston, and it doesn't close all the way.

It should just be selnoid, take it out, try connecting it right to the battery, see if it works, you can clean the shaft the the magnet rides on that might help. if not you can find them online for like $ 25.00, Bob

Found it behind the cockpit fridge. Wow! What a PITA! But, with a bit of repair, nomo leak!

Yup, like I said, takes longer to find it then to fix it. Oh, and they are a PITA to get at...
