Question??? Should the unit be pumping water while heating same as when cooling? My gut is yes but sometimes you get to second guessing.

Thanks!

I'm a little confused as what the thread content has to do with the thread title? But if you're simply wondering if you should see water coming out of the side of the hull whether you're in cool or heat mode... yes, water should ALWAYS be coming out of the side of the hull, regardless of mode. Is that it, or is there more to the question?

That's it! I was winterizing a week or so ago and while on heat, was not as much as of a flow so had been preying on my mind. Thanks!

Water flow should be similar and strong, whether heating or cooling.

I find that my plumbing gets partially obstructed by fine silt that gets past the strainer. This becomes evident as the water flow diminishes.

I blast my lines and coil out monthly over the summer with my marina’s excellent water pressure. The amount of muck that comes out is amazing.

Water flow returns to normal immediately.
