I have a 2006 DA 40 and my starboard wiper circuit breaker keeps popping. How do you access the motor for troubleshooting? I can't seem to figure out where it's located. I hope it's not under the cabin headliner as I have no experience taking upholstery apart. Can anyone help?
Thanks

My SB doesn't work at all. I'm following this

Had an issue with my 97 400DA port side whipper. According to SeaRay the only way to acces the whipper motor is through the interior valance/head liner. Not what I wanted to hear. In my case the whipper worked but parked to the out side. Just picked up a 2001 and the starboard side dose the same thing; parks to the out side. Guess it's the boats way of sayin' " you just thing youre in control".

I had the same problem in my 97 33EC Port wiper motor kept popping the breaker mine was in the head liner where my 110 lights are so access wasn’t an issue I opened up the plate covering the motor to the wiper and everything looked OK ,but I disassembled all the gears ,turned on the wiper motor and sure enough the main gear spun Freely, greased everything and reassembled and that seem to do the trick. Could of been dry? , teeth didn’t mesh ? Anyway fixed!!!

Thanks to everyone who posted. I discovered a false panel which was fabricated to match an overhead speaker in the cabin headliner. I pried it open and there was the wiper motor. Very accessible and neatly disguised by the fake speaker panel. Problem solved.
