But wouldn’t give a time as to not create a crowd. So instead you had to wait all day with all your friends and strangers...that was so much better.

and what did these 4 guys do wrong that they got this job... someone needs to give the plumbers union more masks... actually a mask should be mandatory and not because of covid... holy crap...we can put a flippin rover on Mars but struggle dying a river

You can give a man a mask but you cant make him wear it,just ask joe.

Probably keeps him from directly inhaling the phosphates. The other three will be all aglow tonight.

They should have added some fish poison so they could kill any
Asian carp that might have gotten into the river.

I always thought it was a great tribute to all of us Irishmen (and women) to die the river green. I wonder what the EPA thinks about that.

The river was re-engineered so Lake Michigan flows into it. Asian Carp are inland and the electric fences keep them away from this portion of the river. EPA rules are for business owners, not the Democrat Machine.

How in the world do you re-engineer a river so it flows the opposite direction? I thought water flowed downhill. Did they add locks to change the flow?

Thanks for the link. That'll make for some interesting reading. I guess I knew that from a bazillion years ago when I was in school but had forgotten it.

From what I understand, the Mayor did not give them permission. They went and did it on their own (applause!)

Oh...that would be even better... and would explain Lightfoot changing her mind at last minute....taking credit for no reason

I always remember my Dad on St Pats day. This day in 1945 he was 'on clean up' in Germany and got 'wapoosed'. That's what he called it when he would tell us little kids. The day started out normal for war but by the end of it he was missing his 'left wing'. He lived the rest of his life with an 'inconvenience' but felt he was one of the lucky ones that made it back home.
