Well as many of you know I have been looking and in the market for an 80's sundancer 270. I finally raised the cash and found the boat! I am leaving tomorrow morning to go and sea trial it and pick it up. It is a 1982 with twin 4.3l alphas. Genny, and A/C. No trailer tho. I am borrowing a buddies trailer. He has a Rinker 270 cruiser..... Any issues using this trailer for this boat?

Thanks for the help:smt038:smt038:smt038

Congrats on the new boat! The trailer should be fine since the two noats will be similar size and weights. Make sure you test everything on the trailer before you leave to go get your new boat!

Are you keeping the green goblin still?

Yes! Keeping my current boat as well, it'll still be the sport boat. But getting too small for weekends with the family all together. For the dog and I its great. But now we have the best of both worlds... Thanks for the tip on the trailer!

Congratulations! That's a great boat. I was in to boating back in the eighties when they were new. I fell in love with them, but couldn't swing a new one back then. The lines, room, and everything else about it were what I considered to be a perfect family boat.
I was out of boating for many years and always said when I got back in to it I wanted to buy one. I got back in to boating a few years back now that I had a couple of kids and started the hunt for an eighties 270 Sundancer. While looking around for a good one I came across a great deal on this 300 Sundancer and bought it instead. The slightly bigger size was nice, and it seemed like AC/Heat were harder to come by in a 270 around here. But it was the 270 that originally drew me to these boats.
You're going to love your new boat.

I am so excited! Yes I agree this is a perfect boat I am thinking too. Bern looking for a long time for it
