I have Zeus pods and need to replace the anodes on my trim tabs. I can’t find them in magnesium anywhere. All I can find is aluminum. I’ve always used magnesium but not sure where else to look. What are other fresh water boaters with pods using? I found one Canadian site that mentions them but called today and they don’t actually carry them. This is what they look like

Nothing wrong with Aluminum in fresh water. The Magnesium has a little better electrical potential but at the cost of needing to replace them more often. Additionally finding magnesium is a PITA and were much more $$$. I went looking for Mg anodes, and attempted to produce my own pencil anodes for a CAT 3126. It wasn't worth it.

Here's some info on aluminum from SciCast. I have found these to work very well. --> https://performancemetals.com/pages/navalloy-aluminum-anodes

I don't see them for Zeus pods, but maybe give them a quick email --> r.reinhard@scicast.com.

The aluminum ones from Boatzincs.com would be fine as well.

Thanks great info. Was just worried the allunminum wouldnt provide as much protection. But I guess if it’s this hard to find the magnesium... if it were A problem I would have read something by now that people with pods in freshwater are having issues.
