Did the replacement carpet come exact fit and with snaps installed? Do you have a link?
    Thanks!

    Here's the stuff I bought:
    https://www.corinthian-marine-carpet...roducts/32/158

I had to create templates of the carpet and send them to Corinthian. It was really easy using the old snap-in carpet and tracing that onto a plastic template. The snaps do not come pre-installed, but they will sell you loose snaps and they will also let you use their snap installation tool for free. It took me a while to create the templates, but that's probably just because I'm a bit of a perfectionist. The snaps installed very quickly, and when all was done, everything fit perfectly.

    Re: Official 290 Sundancer Thread

    Hi all,

Recently purchased a 2006 290 from an individual down in FL, and put her on the TN river at Chattanooga. I'm probably in a little over my head on experience and knowledge (wife certainly thinks so) as I've only owned one 19 ft ski boat a few years ago. Didn't know anything when I bought that boat and turned out ok, so I'm hoping the same will hold true with this one. I haven't driven it yet (a bit daunting so far), just put it in the slip for winter with a heater, but I am so impressed with the details of this boat inside and out, and I think I did really well finding a good one and for a good price. She'll need bottom paint and some outdrive work in the spring, but according to the surveyor, she's solid. I'm hoping I can learn a lot here so I can do work myself and not rely on the marina...I'm active duty military and can't afford to give them my paycheck every two weeks . Planning on doing an ignition tune up this winter and overall detail inside and out.

I usually love winter, but spring can't get here fast enough!

Congrats on the new boat. Same color combo as my 2007 that I had for 5 seasons. Loved that boat. I always ask . . . did you find the secret storage compartment in the cabin? Hint, it's in the main berth area.

I know this boat like the back of my hand. Spent many hours on it and did lots of different things with it so if you have any questions, fire away. You'll like the performance. I was impressed with how this boat planes out and cruises. Very stable and smooth.

The one that appears to be for tv remotes next to the bed/matress? If not that I have no idea....guess I know what I'll be looking for this weekend!

Sorry for the delay in re-posting . . . if you what you mean by "next to" is at the head of the berth or under the mirror then you have it. Maybe yours is different but my mine was completely not obvious and discovered by accident.

Hah - that wasn't the spot I was talking about, I'll have to look there this weekend. This boat has more storage than my house!

    Re: Official 290 Sundancer Thread

Hello all, looking for help. Planning to do spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor and I am a little confused what plugs I should be getting.

Can someone tell me what spark plugs they are using (and part number)?www.mercruiserparts.com has them for almost $18 a pop, and westmarine.com advised me of a different part number, and they are only $2.99. I'm not sure the difference, as that is quite substantial.

Also, if any of you can help me identify what type of decking I have, I would appreciate it. It's like some sort of faux teak wood material, and I am not sure how to protect it...
