    Starter is Just Clicking

SO i bought a brand new starter hooked it up and i am still just getting a clicking sound? Any ideas?

I am reading 11 volts on the dash so i assume i am getting enought battery power to crank it?

Is there something else i should check?

Doesn't matter what the dash reads. What are you reading at the starter? What does the battery read?

What diagnostics did you do to warrant buying the new starter?

Very recent thread with same question - see if it helps: http://clubsearay.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24446

Yea i posted on that one too. It looks like they sugested replacing the slave solenaid.

    Should i replace that?

So to test the voltage do i put one end of the tester on the ground cable of the battery and one on the positive of the starter and see if i get 12 volts when the keys turns or should it be constant?

Also measure directly at the battery to check condition of cables (not definitive, but will give a good idea).

I suspect your batteries may be toast. Lazy Daze is sending you in the right direction.
