Re: Calling all 360 DA owners

This is great information - thanks for posting it.

We were on the boat last night in a light rain (what's new - we're in Seattle) and noticed a significant leak along the bottom of the SST windshield frame just next to the helm. We had thought our new canvas was leaking as we were accumulating about 1/2 or more of standing water under the helm seat over the past 2 weeks, that I had to mop out every time we went to the boat. Turns out the water is coming right through the bottom joint of the windshield then dripping straight down. Anyone else have this problem? Is is a simple re-caulking issue or more than that?

    Hello fellow 360DA Captains.

Add another happy 360 owner. I would be happy to participate in a 360 link. I found this thread looking for answers to 360 specific issues and I have benefited greatly from this forum. I'm a new owner of a 2002 360DA, purchased in Oct 2009, so don't expect much except more questions!

Happy cruising -- and Geaux Saints!!

    Hi Larry,
Last year I had some water come in from between the front curved portion and the side section as some others in the "chronic" post had indicated.
I agree that if the trough or "notch' drain was further back, it would not be a problem. I put down a bead of caulk (marine silicone sealant) on the inside at the base of the space between the two frames, and that seemed to direct the water to the outside. I posted a picture of it in that post but it must have lapsed or something so here it is again. Not sure if this is where your leak is

Re: Calling all 360 DA owners

Thanks Mark. This is exactly where my leak is and I think your solution is probably what I need to do. I'm going to review this and a couple of other issues with our SR service manager and have them seal both sides, unless they have a better solution.

Re: Calling all 360 DA owners

When I bought this boat last year, the windshield washer feature was new to me. I could hear the sound of the pump running behind the cabinet at the wet bar, so I kind of knew where it was. When I searched on this board, several posts confirmed the location, but those were folks that owned different models. Wanting to know as much as I can about my boat, I wrote searay and asked about the access to the pump and they responded with this. They also included the access to the wiper motors.
    FYI
    Take care
    Mark

Thanks, Mark. I had found the washer pump last summer when I added a TV antenna connection behind those two plastic storage shelves. Knowing how to access the wiper motors is nice to know, too.
