Reading the lettering again - it says "See Roy 310 Sun Ztu dancer" and the supplied manual is called "The Art of War"?

You may want to PM JimG. I could be wrong but I think I remember reading a post where he added a step a couple years ago. I searched but I couldn't find the post.

Hi Jason, I have the V-Drives so my setup is different. The step I have is factory... its directly over the port transmission. I had intended to post pictures of it, but never can remember to take them when at the boat.

How do you remove the tv from the Solon! Is there a trick to remove the tv from the black panel against the vinyl, or do I need to remove (unscrew) the black panel. Any help with the procedure would be great!

    Thanks in advance!

I think the only way is to take out the 4 screws. My TV is not straight - so I have been looking at what to do. And it looks like the only way in is via the 4 screws in the black panel.

I'm still looking for new TV's though. I want to go to HDMI & 12 volt (and PAL not NTSC) - since the LG TVs does not seem to like our local TV standards.

Thanks kaz! Hopefully they have stapled the vinyl and I won't have to restretch, etc! In short, hopefully it mounts back easily!

Also, does your DVD player need to be replaced because of pal vs NTSC? Also, how are you adjusting for 120 vs 220 on you boat?

Hopefully you're having more fun than I am..... Will have to shrink wrap next weekend!

I hope so too :-) I'm going to take the DVD players out and put in more modern system :-) so I'm thinking Apple TV or WD player with 1 to 2 hdmi switch.

I have an isolation transformer from Victron and everything I replace will be with 120/240 volt or 12 volt only. I'm planning to put in a 240 volt inverter so I can slowly migrate towards 240 in time.

And our season has just started :-) so the next 9 months is cruising time ;-) plus planning to make some nmea2000 tools :-) to do some smart boat monitoring. (Yes make not buy...) I think the current offerings are just .. Well behind the times :-)

Issue with water getting into our cabin. I have the the boat on blocks for the winter. I haven't shrink wrapped yet as I still working on some things. I am getting rain thru the canvas thru the cabin door and into the cabin.

I will be putting a tarp to stop the water. I would expect the cabin door To be a little more water proof. Anyone else have issues with leaks?
