    Meridian 541

This looks like a very nice setup. The draft is what caught my eye. That is also pretty close to the draft of my 300DB!!

I wonder how many Sea Ray Ideas went into her?

don't step on the boat with a full cooler. The meridian next to me takes a full 20 minutes to stop rocking.

Meridians no longer have any more of a connection to Bayliner than Sea Ray or other Brunswick brands. Years ago, some models were "re-badged" Bayliners which has perpetuated the perception.
The 541 is built on the same line as Sea Ray yachts at the Merritt Island plant. According to Sea Ray and Meridian executives, somewhere around 80% of Meridian buyers are coming out of Sea Rays.

Kind of like a Mercury and a Ford. Only differance is the leather and a few bells and whistles.

    Re: Meridian 541

I had a chance to have a look at the boat during the recent Yacht Expo at Merritt Island. If you're into a big bridge boat, this thing is truly impressive. The 541 is built on the same assembly line as the larger Sea Rays and the interior and wood components are manufactured by Sea Ray as well. Many components looked familiar to the Sea Rays. The boat has standard Zeus drives and performance is simply spectacular. The biggest plus is the interior design which has some great features. The price is also attractive for a boat of this size. It looks great with a black hull.

We are currently looking to upgrade to a 441. Great boat at a great price with Sea Ray build quality.
