Sea Ray SSS 1993 63 ft
Hi Rob,
I was using Gull Sweepers when I had my boat on the swing, they worked well.
http://www.marinesolutions.com.au/gu...irdscarer.html
Whitworths keep them on the shelf here. I had 2 on mine. The link above is Melbourne Boat Sales, but shows the whole range. Whitworths do no keep those little bean bag mounts
Kept my boat clean, whilst the ones around me were covered in s.......

Ohhhh boo hoo. I live in this amazing tropical location of a freaking yacht and I have to clean it...
I feel for you.
Just kidding man. I couldn't pass up the easy shot.
Nice boat, and one heck of a story to go along with it.

Re: Sea Ray SSS 1993 63 ft
Hi Guys
Thanks for checking up Paul!! to answer your question, i have not been out with the boat in months now! when i saw you few months back at DH was when the boat was last used off the mooring even that was a brief trip. There was supposed to be a trip this sunday for a friend but just about everything went wrong and i could not even get her going for the trip and had to cancel.
Nothing really positive or exciting to tell....
My starboard engine is down, my hydraulic platform is inoperable and stuck in a bad position trapping the tender in the water... have a few battery probs again, bilge blowers are down, roof is basically shredded from the birds and on top of it all im not in a position to spend on her right now..so. no fuel onboard all that kind of stuff... just going through a **** time this year.... will get back to posting when times are better and i have something good and fun to announce...
One thing i have gotten quite good at is fixing things, just about have the hydraulics fixed, figured out the battery probs and will have em fixed soonish, the roof is going to have to wait for funds, have it priced out at around 10 k the trimmer was out a month or two ago to give me an estimate..its pretty bad you see hundreds of holes when the sun shines on it and the cockpit gets drenched when it rains so no real shelter from storms etc you have to go downstairs if its rainy now.
Still have yet to get under the boat and she really really needs it so must make myself get into that cold murky shark infested water and scrape that bottom clean! Worried the raw water intakes may be clogged so must do it before i next go anywhere with her!
looking forward to the days when i can get out on her again, miss all the fun on the water i used to have ! Have hardly used her at all this year! Im out on her all the time but never leave the bouy.
Here is a video of NYE that a kiwi friend of mine made, she did a good job of capturing the feel of NYE on the water in Sydney! All the boats in the thousands right by each other and the one of a kind atmosphere on sydney harbour for that special event.. Paul there is some footage of you guys and your boat in it, Amy made this video out of a bunch of footage i had..i have not had time for video editing etc so she grabbed all my footage and is creating away! Shes working on that harbor life video i promised months ago!

Well hopefully things will improve soon and i will be out enjoying the Cabaret and posting my stories here again.... to be honest i have seriously been contemplating selling lately... giving something a last ditch effort if it does not work then sadly my days with her will have to come to a close! At least i managed to live it for 2 years and learn a ton, has been great mostly! Any Aussies on this board want to buy a great boat with a great story behind her, i will give a Csr discount on the price haha?1999 Sea Ray 540DA

Re: Sea Ray SSS 1993 63 ft
Hey Rob, if you look way back to when this craziness started in Florida you had so many seemingly impossible challenges as well. Everyone (including myself a bit) wondered if you'd ever pull off getting that boat back home. Well, no matter how much sh*t (literally) you had to crawl through you got it done. So I pretty sure you're the right man for the job now when things are rough again.
Good luck and stay positive. There's a TON of folks on CSR pulling for you!
