    Re: Official 240 Sundancer Thread

    G'day all,
I have a 2003 240 sundancer and i was just wondering if anyone else has had trouble with the switch pad that controls all of the minor functions like bilge pump, lights etc. Since I'm located in Australia i'm finding it hard to track down a replacement. Anyone point me in the right direction, are these parts still available in america and if so where?
    Cheers Chris

Neither can we. In fact we often experience a power fade then surge when engine is over 3,600 rpm. We've had the fuel tank cleaned, fresh fuel and new filters and new high pressure fuel pump, but still the same fade and surge. Runs for hours at 3,400 rpm beautifully. Has anyone else had this problem?

well , the numbers at boattest are simply fake. every 240 owner can confirm that 47 mph measured by gps are simply not in the cards with the 5.0 mpi. the highest i ever reached by gps was 40 mph , and that was with just me and little fuel .

    Hi,
I ordered new side curtains from great lake (former owner had lost), and now i have a complete canvas.
But, previous owner had lost / destroyed canvas frame also, and i`m gonna make new ones from stainless steel.
Please, could someone take a measurement from front and rear, the strait part of frame (approx), from side support to the point where curve begin.
Those measurements are marked in the picture. I`ll really appreciate if someone will help me with the measurements.
    Thx, Miikka

The front one is 40" from the bottom to where it begins to curve. The back one is 36". That's not including the bracket at the bottom of the frame.

Thank you soooo much!! That helps a lot.
Is that back one really shorter than the front one? In pic it looks like the front one is shorter..?
