Gauges and Smart Craft Display are dead
Took out my 2006 Sundeck 220 for the first time this summer. After three hours of everything working perfectly, the gauges, and display stopped worked.... Turned the engine and power on and off and it did not change... Trim was going up and down, water system had power, but nothing showing on the display.
No speedomter, no tach, no smart craft display gauges... probably power related, but I am not sure... last time this happened, ( two years ago) the restart fixed everthing...
any ideas?Aorent

Re: Gauges and Smart Craft Display are dead
lets hope it is going to be cheap fix. check for loose harness behind gauge panel, on the motor and junction box (if you have one).

Gauges and Smart Craft Display are dead
My Smart Craft went dead also on my 2007 260 sundancer. Do you or anyone else have any ideas of where I should start looking?

Like Boatmailster said, start looking at wiring connections. You should unplug these and look at the condition of the pins.

Re: Gauges and Smart Craft Display are dead
If you also have other stuff on the dash that is dead... In the engine bay, probably near your batteries or charger, there will be a stand alone breaker. It's about 3" square and will have a little "arm" that pops out. Push it back in.

Re: Gauges and Smart Craft Display are dead
First off, Smartcraft gauges are networked. So if some gauges work, and others don't the issue is not a network problem. Have you checked the connection between the non functioning gauges and the tach?

Re: Gauges and Smart Craft Display are dead
I'm the one that had the dead smart craft. Took all your advice and started looking at all wire connections in the engine compartment first. After an hour or so I worked my way to the buss bar located next to my battery charger. Pulled up on all wires one at a time and pulled one right out of its crimp connecter, redid the connecter and re-chrimp now everything works great. Thanks for the great advice.
