Power Tilt and Trim
Total newbie here wanting to diagnose a power tilt/trim problem I'm having. I have a 1988 Sorrento24 with Mercruiser 5.7L motor (s/n 0B86224) and I'm assuming an alpha drive (s/n 0B820428). My very first problem... I can't locate exactly where the tilt/trim pump/motor assembly is located. I have a repair manual but there's no photo/diagram/illustration showing it's actual placement and thus far i haven't found anything looking like their photos. I know this is dumb but I've got to learn so much about marine engines and drives.

Re: Power Tilt and Trim
Usually on the starboard side under a rear seat
It will be close to the transom the trim tab pump will be on the opposite sideLast edited by moparlvr4406; 07-10-2012 at 04:09 PM.

I'd say they were more turbulent wakes, not necessarily bigger.
