FInally got the dinghy back on the water, running great now. The oil had some fuel in it. Run it dry every time now. Carb needed to sit in carb cleaner.

Tom, I forgot to ask in my last post but why would the solenoid be shorting and how can I prevent it in the future? I don't want to go and buy new parts (most things are about twice the price...
