    Smile vote for charlevoix

Hey all you michiganders, found out that USA Today is having a contest to find the countries best lake. Charlevoix is one of the 12 they choose. You can grab a paper and see how to vote. Christine and I have a real affinity for that lake,we go up several times a year and stay in boyne city;freshwater gallery carries my metal art and boyne city inn has the best fish you've ever had on friday nights. Re: vote for charlevoix

After a reservation snafu that we encountered at Charlevoix (municipal marina), they have been scratched from my list of marinas to visit. Instead, we opted for Harborage Marina in Boyne City. Awesome facility worth the cruise to the east end of Lake Charlevoix. The dining options in Boyne City seemed to offer more for our tastes as well. Cafe Sante was particularly good. We'll return to Boyne.
