I am looking at an '84 SRV340 Sport Fisherman with dual Mercruiser 350 MPI engines that is "Setup for a generator." I have not looked at the boat yet and before I do I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what sort of generator would go into this boat. My guess is that the electrical system is all set up for a generator and there is a "proper place" in the boat for it, but for whatever reason it doesn't have one. Frankly, I like the idea of putting one in as I'll know how good it is. I am just trying to get a handle on costs.
