Post work transmission question
Hey all,
The short history... Hit a deadhead and have just got the boat back after about 6 weeks.
2002 searay AJ 290, twin 350MPI shaft drive. It uses 4 leavers for control...
Ok the question. I picked it up today. All of the damage was on the port engine... They took out the tranny and checked it and then rebuilt it before putting it in, now it "feels" different from the starboard one. It seems to engage at a different position on the lever travel. Now is this due to linkage setting or is it purely because the tranny was worked on and now it is just different?
Cheers

I have my boat inspected each season. I've been checked by the USCG even though I have the sticker. I don't think it tells them much, just that you were OK at some point in the past. One...
