Posting Pictures
Hi,
I have a question about my trailer that I would like to post on the forum but it really needs the photos to show what I am talking about. Is there anyway for me to post photos directly from my computer (macbook) to the forum without using photobucket or similar?
Cheers

Nope.
The photos need to be somewhere we can all access them. That means either an external 3rd party (photobucket, Facebook etc), or become a sponsor of the site and upload here (if you've gone over quota)
Oh, welcome. I hope you find this place as useful as I have.

Re: Posting Pictures
Thanks for the quick reply but what do you mean by "gone over quota"

You can post some photos with a standard user account, however you'll be limited in size as there is a small quota
I've just read your post again and it sounds like you're asking a different question to the one I answered
What exactly is stopping you from posting pics?

Re: Posting Pictures
There is a little icon in the toolbar above the reply box, 4th in from the right. It looks like a picture. Click on it and the browse your photo's and open to add on. Then upload.

You may need to reduce the size of the file depending on the quality. Higher megapixels= more memory size. I use a free software called Jing. It basically captures an image of your photo at less resolution and creatse a smaller file size.[IMG][/IMG]

Re: Posting Pictures
Hi guys,
I was trying to upload an image from my computer because I don't have photobucket but it just wouldn't come up in the post and there was an exclamation mark in a red circle next to the file name. I will try reducing the file size and see how that goes.
Cheers

Re: Posting Pictures
Just get a Photobucket account for public photos like this forum. It is free...
Welcome aboard! MM"Bail-outs??? Back in 1990, the Government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada for tax evasion and, as required by law, tried to run it. They failed and it closed. Now we are trusting the economy of our country and our banking system to the same nit-wits who couldn’t make money running a whore house and selling whiskey!”
