loss of shifting on 44 dancer, electronic solenoid
i last year lost forward when i put boat in gear . have wireless shifters . traced to electric solenoid on transmision . wiggled solenoid and it worked . tightened center screw on solenoid . worked all last year . now this year did it again , was loose again . has anyone had this problem . why does it keep loosening up ? should i replace the "end " of the wire harness that loosends up ?

That's cool and it's amazing how many of these boats they were building each year at that time. I believe mine was also built at the Merit Island plant and was originally sold in Dallas.
