I just bought a new to me 2002 176BR and the previous owner had installed a humminbird depth finder with a through the hull (inside bilge) transducer.
He actually mounted two of them in the bilge, the first one was mounted near the center line and back towards the transom. The second and one that is hooked up is to the right of the battery.
I am getting terrible results with either one and as just wondring if anyone has one mounted in the bilge area that works and if so where is it mounted?

I believe thats what the extra terminal should be for. I do not recoginose the part no. but i think it is the same Carling Switches we sell
