How can I get 110V to the starboard side of the cabin? 1997 250 Dancer
Looking to get 110V shore power outlet inside the closet on the side of the head for an upcomming project.
Anyone done this? Looking for the least destructive route to fish the wires through. Open to suggestions.

No power over there? not already in the head? Coming over through the head liner might be an option. Hopefully I'll get back to my boat next week end and tear apart my dock neighbors... he has the same model as yours. And I keep fixing his.

How about down through the shower sump area and then back up? Ok I'm done been drinking too much and now going out to enjoy a single malt scotch and a cigar. Been a loooong week. There are only 7 days, right?

Similar to what Sdarc is saying...
If there's no shower receptacle, run a line from the cockpit receptacle and between the shower liner/stbd hull side to your locker.
or
Run a line from your galley receptacle around/behind the v-berth backrest.

I do not see a shower receptacle - Are they normally in the wall? Not sure because of the shower deal, hidden?
Any idea on how the backrest is attached?
Any way to go inder the steps somehow?

Re: How can I get 110V to the starboard side of the cabin? 1997 250 Dancer
All of the 110v wiring runs from the shore power receptacle to the circuit breakers in the galley area. The wiring runs down the port side and enters the cabin behind the port wall of the aft cabin and then enters cabinet next to the breaker panel.
The only way that I can think of to accomplish this is to use an available circuit breaker and route the wiring behind the port wall of the aft cabin and then behind the water tank to the starboard side. At this point the wiring would probably need to follow all of the other wires behind the throttle and then route it to the area behind the console. From there you could follow the wiring for the sump pump under the stairs and under the head. You could also follow the horn wiring and go over the head.
this isn't a trivial project.MMSI# 338112684

IIRC from my friends boat this only has 1 110v recepticle in this boat and that is at the galley. What I did on my old 94 250 EC was to add a breaker in the box and brought the wire down behind the cabinet, through the cabinet, through the v-berth and wired in a receptical there. You could just continue around the v-berth and back to the closet.

sdarc is correct, that would work too. Follow the speaker wires to the bow and follow the horn wiring back to the closet.

It's been a while since I've been in an older 250, but I think there is a receptacle in the cockpit, but not the head?
Either way, as I mentioned above, going around the v-berth is very easy. You can go around the topside of the backrest (mostly hidden), or remove it (10 minutes) and go around the bottom side so the line is totally hidden.Dennis

Reason I asked is on iBoats.com forum, when asked about the Regal 2760/Sundancer 270 having the T4.3L V6, some people say sometimes planning takes times, and when loaded it might not perform great. :)
