what CRC fluid to use?
I want to spray the engines of my boat with a CRC fluid just to prevent rust from forming. I spoke to my marine mechanic and he suggested using CRC spray. However, I neglected to ask him which CRC product to use. There are so many of them that I can choose from.
Can you recommend a CRC spray product that I can use to spray on my engine so I can prevent rust? And that won't damage any parts?

I use CRC 6-56.Have used it on both jet ski's since new and both motors look like new.Use it on boat motors and don't notice any problems.

I use boeshield T-9 on the boat, the dock and in the shop. It does leave behind a tacky residue so it can attract dust.

Re: What CRC spray to use?
I used to use Corrosion Block on my engine in the 175 Sport. I switched to Yamashield due to the nice fan spray. I still use Corrosion Block to spray electronic connections not on the engine and under the dash. Corrosion X is another one designed for marine engine protection.

You need only post a question once for it to be seen by members of this forum. Most of us use the New Posts-24 Hours and will see it no matter where you post it. Good luck, MM
