    "Custom" Mooring Cover?

Does anyone have any experience or feedback with “custom” mooring covers manufactured by Shoremaster sold though iBoats? Looking at Weathermax Pro material. Any feedback on fit, quality, or material?

You might find the Sea Ray mooring cover to be better all around. I looked at several different covers before deciding on the one from Sea Ray and it fits perfectly and is very tight and well ventilated. It also trailers well at high speeds. When I was at lake Anna in August the folks who invited me had a 280 sundeck with the custom cover and it fit as perfectly as the one on my 205 sport. It is well worth the extra money to get the Sea Ray cover to better protect your investment. It is also considered original equipment if you ever sell the boat.

If you have a local canvas guy that does nice work you might want to have him give you an estimate before you buy something else. The advantage to that is you can incorporate your own ideas in to the design.

    Re: "Custom" Mooring Cover?

I had a custom made cover made by a local shop on a non-Sea Ray boat. Excellent work and the shop suggested a zipper that has turned out to be an excellent way to gain access instead of unsnapping the cover on a corner area just to "look inside."
