Re: Hard starting 5.7 when warm
I now have a bigger problem. I will post a new thread but its worth mentioning here. I found water on one cylinder. I don't know if its related, but I read that prolongued starts, like my hard starting problem could cause water ingestion. Have any of you heard about this?
Please keep in mind I have brand new (10 hours) blocks and elbows and my manifolds are less than a year old. I am not discarding riser failure, but need feedback on possible cause.Last edited by ardeprint; 10-17-2012 at 02:33 PM.

Re: Hard starting 5.7 when warm
Quick update:
My water ingestion situation apparently has nothing to do with the hard starts. Something is letting water in. Just wanted to share that with you all so I don't worry those who have the hard starting problem. If there is a good side to the hard starting problem is that in lieu of trying to correct it I was able to catch this water problem before major engine damage occurred.

I asked on iboats.com but no responds. So I'm asking about it here again. I heard people said good thing about boatUS's, and NBOA's. NBOA's seems to be about 40% less expensive ($35000 agreed...
Getting new insurance from NBOA,...
