Dish Network "Tailgater"
does anyone has try to use this on the boat? boating toward Bimini area...

I believe its intended to be "motionless" to work properly. A rocking boat will probably keep the signal from locking on.

and I think to hook to the dish system it has to be pointed SE at all times

Overton's (and I imagine others) sells basically the same unit, but specifically designed for marine applications.

I have a WineGuard in-motion and it works great. Got it at a RV place. Got it set up for Direct tv but you can set it up for Dish also.
